A great example of a young Super-Tuscan! The first impression of the nose has an earthy barnyard quality that evolves into wild berries and cherries. Even in its youth, this wine exhibits complex flavors of cocoa, vanilla, cherry and coffee wrapped in a soft velvet blanket of tannin that envelops the palate with a soft oak and mild peppery quality; lingering and persistent finish.
Drink now until 2020.
Dogajolo can be paired with first courses and white meats, but shows at its best with full-flavored dishes such as roasts, grilled meats, cold cuts and Tuscan regional specialty.
