When most people mention San Diego to me, my mind automatically wanders to thoughts of perfect weather and amazing tacos. In some areas of San Diego, it is impossible to go more than a block without passing a taco shop. Equally difficult if not impossible is rating these taco shops. Local chefs elevated this humble food to a must-have gourmet delight adding various twists or sticking to the south of the border traditions. Here are five taco experiences not to miss while in San Diego.
