Thirteen wineries throughout the Heart of Sonoma Valley will be participating in this ‘Hands-On’ Harvest Experience. Guests will not only get a behind-the-scenes look at what happens during harvest, but they’ll have the opportunity to get involved, hands-on.
For three days, wineries will be offering a variety of Harvest Activities including Grape Sampling in the vineyards, Crush Pad tours, samples of Fresh Pressed Juice and grapes picked fresh off the vine including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon. Guests will even taste a wine while it’s fermenting! Learn how to read a Refractometer and gain a deeper understanding about the importance of the balance between sugar and acid levels in wine grapes. Meet with and ask Winemakers questions about harvest. This is an amazing opportunity to learn all about harvest!
The 3-day festival takes place at 13 wineries throughout the valley on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, September 16, 17 and 18 from 11am – 4pm daily. The Three Day Pass is $35 per person in advance and Designated Drivers are $10 per person. Tickets at the door are $45 per person and $15 for designated drivers.
